Research Advances in Water Quality tells the stories of water quality progress and improvement in Iowa through scientific results and the efforts of Iowa State University researchers, students and their partners.
This website highlights stories of the people, projects and places that are part of current progress in water quality research by ISU and its partners. For example, the Iowa Nutrient Research Center has to date has funded more than 30 research projects conducted by scientists at Iowa State, University of Iowa and University of Northern Iowa since 2013.
These stories help illustrate the ongoing research and innovation needed to improve Iowa’s water quality. They are the most current chapter of Iowa State University's long history of water quality research and extension and outreach — both in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and across campus.
